Ingredients

  • 12 oz sushi-grade tuna diced into ½-inch cubes
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice about 3-4 limes
  • ¼ cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño seeded and minced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 medium avocado diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Dice the sushi-grade tuna into ½-inch cubes and place in a medium bowl.
  • Pour fresh lime juice over the tuna, ensuring it’s fully submerged. Let sit for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chopped red onion and minced jalapeño to the bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  • Drizzle in olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and fold in chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Just before serving, add diced avocado and lightly toss to mix.
  • Serve immediately in bowls or with tortilla chips for maximum freshness.
